Gifts From The Heart

Lara Barrington could not believe that Harrison Thomas has returned to their hometown. Harrison had shook the small town dust off his shoes long ago. Lara is positive that she is over the crush she had on Harrison. He never seemed to see her as more than a friendly pest. Now he has returned and seems intent on driving her out of the antique business. Everywhere Lara turns, there Harrison is. It is enough to drive a woman crazy. Forced to work with Harrison, Lara discovers that she still has feelings for Harrison and they run strong and deep. Lara knows she must prepare herself for when Harrison leaves again.

Harrison Thomas has come home to take over the family antique business. He is looking forward to making the business an even bigger success than his father did. Harrison is shocked that people believe he broke Lara’s heart. He never felt that she had any feelings other than friendship for him. Thomas wants the chance to prove to Lara that he is home to stay. He also wants her to see that his feelings for her are real and true.

Gifts From The Heart is the emotional tale of two people who must let go of the past and trust one another. Ms. LeDuc uses humor and dialogue to create a very endearing story. Lara and Harrison are an exceptional couple and will not soon be forgotten. I look forward to Ms. LeDuc’s next book.
