Casey Weldon is determined to keep the promise he made his dying wife, Susan. Putting his children first, Casey ended his pro football career and became the athletic director at an eastern university. The athletic program was in deep trouble and it is Casey’s responsibility to clear it up. Susan refused to explore the kinkier sex that Casey craved and he is determined that the next woman in his life will. Assistant Security Chief TJ Thomas is not like any woman Casey has ever met. She did not bow to his authority but questions it and his integrity. As the two work together to solve a mystery on campus, they are unable to resist the lust they feel. TJ Thomas is used to men not paying her a second glance. She is not the small, petite type – no, TJ is just the opposite. Her own father seemed to reject her because she did not fit his ideal. Casey Weldon is a man who can have any woman he wants, so why would he look twice at her. Trying to solve a mystery on campus, the two give in to passion. Both agree that the relationship is just sex, no commitment. Neither is looking for commitment. As time progresses, TJ realizes she has fallen in love with Casey, but knows there is no future in the relationship.

Ann Jacobs’ Tip Of The Iceberg is a book that I could not put down. The mix of mystery, romance and hot sex is an unbeatable combination. Casey and TJ are a wonderful couple who complete one another. Their steamy relationship is an unstoppable fire that will have you needing a glass of ice water. Ms. Jacobs just gets better with each book.
