Candy Hearts #2: Sealed With A Kiss

Marie Donaldson signed on as an engineer for Captain Daxon Sha’gar’s ship because she needed the money and because he was so sexy. And since Daxon insisted, the deal was Sealed With A Kiss, one that almost caused her to go up in flames. Now, they’ve been on board ship a month, it’s almost Valentine’s Day, and Daxon hasn’t even given her the time of day. When they dock, it’s another story altogether. Daxon must convince Marie that he does desire her and wants her to say with him.

Considering the length of this book (25 pages), Markeeta Karland does a great job telling a story that will keep you glued to the screen. Candy Hearts #2: Sealed With A Kiss is one hot read. Marie and Daxon are both attracted to each other right from the start, but each has different priorities. Because he’s been so standoffish during the trip, Marie thinks Daxon is not interested and she’s a little sad because Valentine’s Day, her favorite holiday, will probably be spent alone. But Daxon is interested, and he’ll do whatever it takes get Marie alone so he can do all the sexy, sensual things he’s been dreaming about for the past month. I enjoyed the character development which was just enough so that Marie and Daxon are friends before they heat up the pages. This is a quick, hot read that I think you’ll enjoy.
