Roary O’Rourke Book Three: Challenge of the Trolls

Prince Roary O’Rourke and his good friend Earl Dooley Do are off on a grand adventure! They are going to reclaim Dooley’s kingdom from the evil Baron Thornside, with a little help from the Elfdom army and the Mountain Men. They will be leaving behind their wives, family, and friends as they journey through these dangerous lands. Their only means of communication will be the ancient art of the Smoke Language.

They will have much to overcome to place Dooley upon the throne of Dark Clouds Peak. They have to travel through the dangerous Ancient Tunnel, cross the Sea of Rain, and wage a hard battle for the Dark Clouds castle. They will face menacing trolls and skilled warriors.

Travel along with these brave and strong friends as they fight magnificent battles and befriend dragons. Can they conquer all and free an entire country?

Ms. Hollier does a fine job of allowing this book to stand alone, even though it’s actually the third in its series. Her characters are fun and have the most wonderful names! I think that this is an excellent children’s story. Children will love this book. It’s so hard to get children to read that it’s great to find someone who writes such amazing stories.
