Julie McAdams has been informed by her father’s ex-partner, Declan Poe, that she is in possible danger from terrorists. Her father, a CIA agent, is deep undercover with an important object that the terrorists are willing to kill to bring into their possession. Julie halfheartedly agrees to allow Declan to protect her, although she doesn’t believe that any harm will come to her because of her father’s undercover work. On first sight, Julie is instantly attracted to him. While being protected by Declan, Julie decides to seduce him. Will Julie be able to reach her goal of seduction?

Pawn by Kit Tunstall is a wonderful quickie to fill ones erotic appetite. This little hot read is filled with suspense, betrayal, and passion, which make an awesome, enticing tale for such a short novel. Julie is a woman on a mission. She is determined to enjoy Declan in her bed by any means necessary. I truly enjoyed reading Julie’s tricks of seduction. Declan’s mission, on the other hand, is to protect his ex-partner’s daughter, not to hop into bed with her. It was fun to read how these two struggled to maintain their missions. I look forward to reading more exciting stories by Ms. Tunstall.
