Confessions of a Wicked Woman

Stephanie Monroe was on her way to a small midwestern town, Mayfield, to bring her business partner and closest friend, Venus Gold, back to Los Angeles. They had a major assignment that could push their business, Venus & Stephanie, to the top of their field. Arriving into town didn't go as expected for poor Stephanie. After driving her SUV into an overflowing creek, she is in a fight for her life. Luckily for her Sheriff Jack Logan arrived in time to save her from drowning. Unfortunately, after stopping at the police station, she is separated from the Sheriff and is arrested for indecency. What a wonderful way to be welcomed to a small town.

Jack felt an attraction to Stephanie the first moment her saw her. However, he could tell she was trouble from the start. When a series of events puts him in her path, things will heat up between the two. Pressure from the towns people, and having to live up to his father's status as Sheriff, will place Jack in a position to choose between beautiful, strong-willed Stephanie and the people of Mayfield. The chance meeting between these two will change their lives forever, but not how readers will expect.

Susanna Carr has written another hilariously entertaining story. Readers will fall in love with Stephanie and her one of a kind friend Venus Gold. Their quirky antics added a touch of humor to this tale. Many will also relate to the small town politics of Mayfield and its constituents. The heat and attraction between Jack and Stephanie is definitely hot and sexy. Overall Confessions of a "Wicked" Woman is a delightful read just in time for the summer.
