Eyes of the Cowan
Valda Lyman has made a career out of disproving the existence of so-called “witches” for Weird Magazine. Her newest assignment would take her to the home of famous and renowned witch, Blaze Robinson, for a week. She knew she would go there and prove he was a phony just as all the others were, but once she gets to his house she begins to question all she believes.
Blaze Robinson wasn’t to keen on the idea of having a cowan, or non-believer, in his home, especially one Valda Lyman who is known for her skepticism. However, he knows the cards say this woman will change his life forever. What happens during this week neither will expect but both will enjoy.
Eyes of the Cowan is another winner by author Lena Austin. The sexual tension between these two characters heats up the pages. One scene in particular during a Beltane celebration will leave you in a pant for a cold shower. Miss Austin also adds in some very sexy shaped chocolates for our reading pleasure. The story line of the cowan learning from the witch is a nice refreshing story. Readers are taught about witches and their celebrations and why they observe some of the holidays they do. Eyes of the Cowan is definitely a book to add to your to be read pile this summer!
