Dead Easy
Eighteen year old prodigy Rachel has been working on a revolutionary computer program for her brother's company. Someone out there wants her to stop her work or else and they are threatening to stop her themselves. Around the same time Ana Kimble receives news she will not be receiving tenure for her college professorship, Rachel asks Ana to accompany her on a tropical vacation trip. Little does Ana know it is not truly a vacation but an escape of sorts. Then Rachel disappears and the only person Ana has to turn to is the mysterious Nick Travis, who seems to know much more than he is telling. Can they find Rachel in time and what will it cost Ana besides her heart?
Author Olga Bicos really delivers with Dead Easy, almost giving you two for the price of one. Throughout the story you read excerpts of the novel in progress being written the main character Ana. A jungle adventure full of mystery and danger... and a gorgeous hero named Raul. The characters are real and honest, and are not afraid to show their weaknesses. At first, the heroine Ana seemed a bit wishy washy to me but as the story grew so did she. The hero is sexy and dangerous and the sex scenes are passionate. I especially liked the young computer whiz Rachel, and was on pins and needles during her ordeal in the jungle.
Holding my attention from start to finish, this was an interesting tale full of twists and turns. It is all in here...romance, mystery, danger tropical heat and lots of steamy sex. What more could you ask for?
