Her Last Temptation

Dylan Spencer absolutely cannot believe his eyes. Though his “real” job is a software designer, he is no longer the shy, out of place, and geeky person that he was in high school.

Too bad she has just sworn off bad boys. Maybe she should put that decision on hold for a few more days?

There is no way that I can write a review for this book without mentioning the fact that this is not only “Her Last Temptation” but is also THE Last Temptation. Since I read my first Temptation in the mid 1990’s I have been hooked on the line and have not been able to read enough of them. When I began reviewing and was fortunate enough to review them I was in book heaven. This is a line that is going to be mourned by many readers and authors around the world. The line has launched the career of some of the biggest names in the romance industry including Leslie Kelly who published her very first book with the line in September, 1999 entitled Night Whispers.

I am going to miss these sexy red covers like an old friend and but I must say that Harlequin chose the PERFECT person to say farewell to this old friend. Leslie Kelly has a style that personifies everything that the line has represented over the years. It is an unbeatable combination of sassy, sexy, bold and pure fun.

This book earns a Recommended Read not because it has the name Leslie Kelly on the cover, not because it is the LAST Temptation that will be published in North America but because it is a beautiful love story. It has characters that you can’t help but fall in love with. It has several surprises and names that loyal Temptation readers will recognize and it embodies the essence, the spirit and the soul of the line that has been Harlequin Temptation. Farewell old friend, you will be missed.
