Montague Vampires: Desperate and Dateless

On Valentine’s Day, Vicci is working the Annual Vampiric Desperate and Dateless Ball as a security agent. The ex-merc is a bit bored by the job, but she needs it. Besides, it provides plenty of entertainment just by people watching, or… vampire watching. When a handsome man comes up to her out of the shadows, Vicci is excited, if a bit cautious. She certainly never expected to meet anyone while working.

Prince Vladmir decided to attend the ball on a whim, but it proves way more interesting than he could ever have hoped. Not only is he sweating, a sure sign that he is entering his fertile time period, but he has met the woman who can close his Soul’s Circle. Vicci is an enchanting mix of defiant and feminine female. She’s strong and knows her duty, but she’s also lonely and searching for someone to love. Perhaps this ball will prove to be more fortuitous than either could ever have hoped.

Desperate and Dateless is a humorous tale of a vampire seeking love. Well written with a keen edge of wit and desire to keep readers on their toes, Elizabeth Lapthorne creates a detailed and vividly described vampire world that will surely please all fans of the vampire genre. Vicci and Vlad are two characters that have a lot of chemistry, lots of sparks and just a very fun story to tell.
