The Favor

The Favor is the third in the Risking it All trilogy.

This trilogy tells the story of three sisters who lost their father six years ago. On their 26th birthday the three girls receive letters from their father that were written just before his death. When Sierra opens her letter, she finds her father’s advice to stop watching and start living. She follows it to her very own adventure.

Sierra has always been the bookish one of the trio. She has felt that she was the one that split their family up twenty years ago. She has never been the healthiest of people and feels that that is the reason why their mother chose not to follow their father. Having watched her sisters follow their father’s advice and find love in the process makes Sierra fears and anticipates opening her own letter. On the way into the restaurant to meet her sisters for the ‘opening’, she meets an enigmatic man and is kissed by him. Flustered, she leaves behind her to do list for instigating an affair.

Ryder is captured by the innocence and naiveté that follows Sierra and he finds himself chasing her. When they end up on the run for their lives will Sierra get her affair? Will Ryder get to keep her innocent? Watch as they risk it all.

This was such a good book. I cried when it was over because I knew that the trilogy was done. I was more intrigued with this book because I was curious to see where Ms. Summers would take Sierra. I was extremely happy with the way things turned out! I loved the idea that the bookish sister would turn into as much as an adventurer as her sister. The sparks that were flying between Ryder and Sierra were definitely fun to ‘watch’. I was sorry to see the series end, but it was a great ride while it lasted. I will be recommending these books for a very long time!
