When a strange shopkeeper tells lonely young widow Elise that the beautiful necklace she's looking at will bring her true love, she scoffs. But the shopkeeper insists that the necklace was made for her and sells it to Elise for a fraction of what it appears to be worth.

That night, Elise hears a knock at her bedroom door. Unable to find the light switch, she realizes the room has changed when she opens a window that should have been a door. As the two continue their trek to freedom, they give in to their intense physical attraction. Elise shares a sexual passion with Thomas that she had never known in her marriage. As soon as Elise starts to accept the unbelievable situation, however, she wakes up back in her Boston home. Was her rescue just a dream after all?

Laura Rose's Rescued is a short but very meaningful story of true love bringing people together in whatever way necessary. Beginning with the mysterious necklace, Ms. Rose’s eloquent writing had me completely captivated. The passion between Thomas and Elise is magnificent and their brief time together had my pulse racing. I loved the plot twist at the end - sweet and so satisfying!

I was lucky enough to review both of Erotique's debut releases and can't help but repeat myself: I expect that readers looking for erotic romance will be flocking to their website in no time. I know I will!
