Tales of the Shareem: Rees
Rees is a Shareem, a race of beings created strictly for the pleasure of women. When the company that created the Shareem closed, Rees went into hiding along with his best friend, Rio. One day while visiting the holo-block, Rees is approached by one of the upper-class women of Bor Narga who wants to study him to learn more about the Shareem. Bemused, Rees agrees to let her study him, determined to show her what the Shareem are all about.
Talan d’Urvey is a member of the upper class on Bor Narga and a student in the Way of the Star. Talan spends her days reading philosophy and mediating. She is an innocent who plans to take a vow of celibacy in keeping with her teachings. Before she forsakes the pleasures of the flesh, Talan seeks out a Shareem, hoping to experience the same carnality as that described in the diary she found of a noblewoman who took a Shareem lover for a week. Talan didn’t anticipate that a week with a Shareem would lead her to the love of a lifetime.
Every now and again, I read a story that absolutely captivates me and draws me in from start to finish and TALES OF THE SHAREEM: REES is just such a story. Rees and Talan were characters whose story affected me. Genuine love developed between them during the course of the book and I found myself desperately wanting a happy ending for them.
Of course, sex is a big part of TALES OF THE SHAREEM: REES. Rees was a legendary Shareem and he exuded sexuality. His masterful seduction of Talan left me hot and bothered on more than one occasion. This is not a book to read in mixed company and you will definitely want to keep your significant other on standby.
It’s almost difficult to put into words what made TALES OF THE SHAREEM: REES an outstanding, 5 angel, Recommended Read book. The characters and their story captured both my imagination and my heart, while the carnality of the book left me wanting a Shareem of my own. Everyone who enjoys an erotic love story should experience TALES OF THE SHAREEM: REES.
