A Promise To Keep

Karen Hudson is a third grade school teacher, who gave up the search for love a long time ago. Then one day into her classroom and her heart her stroll Jennifer, Michael and true love. Just as quickly as they entered her life they were gone. Within 24 hours the FBI shows up telling Karen that Michael is wanted for the murder of his wife’s lover. What is a woman to do but try and find the truth.

Michael Browning, aka Michael Borbeau, wasn’t looking for love. It just happened. All he really wanted to do was to protect his daughter Jennifer and stay one step ahead of the police. Now that he is forced to run again are his dreams for a future with Karen over?

Clarice Borbeau is Micheal’s wife. She is a woman who knows exactly what she wants and doesn’t hesitate to take it.

Anyone who loves a good story must read this book. Ann Durand’s way with words painted pictures of the scenes in my mind. I am not comfortable reading on my computer for long periods of time, but A Promise to Keep kept me so immersed in the story, that I read it all the way through in one sitting. I had to know what happened! The characters and the plot just pull you in. If you can only buy one book today this is definitely the one to buy!
