Dane Garrity is a tabloid reporter, who finds out what it feels like to be stalked by the press, after appearing on a reality dating show. Wanting to get out of town and away from reporters he buys a cottage, in what he believes to be the peaceful Manitou Springs. Upon arrival at his cottage, he gets his first glimpse at his new neighbor Piper Davis and decides things might not be as peaceful as he had thought.

Piper Davis is just your average soap making, palm reading small town girl who has been burned one too many times. Her last boyfriend not only broke her heart but stole her savings.

Nora Parker is a woman who believes in love. It breaks her heart to see her granddaughter Piper refuse to open herself back up to a man, so she decides to do something about it.

When men start showing up on her doorstep and proposing marriage Piper is completely baffled and angry. Then she sees the personal ad ,placed by Nora, offering a free tuxedo and a classic Pierce Arrow roadster to the man who marries Piper.

If you like romantic comedy you will definitely have to read Love Thy Neighbor. Susan Marie Calvin has a grand sense of humor and her love scenes are pretty touching too! It is a fast paced story that will suck you in from the opening paragraph until the closing line! I love the depth and uniqueness of each character’s personality, I am hoping Ms. Calvin will write more about some of the secondary characters in this book. A perfect summer read.
