Parlor Tricks

Saskia Riley is a witch with a problem. She has problems with her spells and her love life. Sass has spent years wanting Griffin Sampson and he has never seen her as anything other than his little sister’s friend. When Griffin is the victim of a lust spell, Sass reaps the benefit and the pair has a passionate encounter. While memories of the event plague Sass, Griffin remembers nothing about it. Sass runs in to Griffin when he comes to visit his sister over the Thanksgiving holidays. The two succumb to the passion that is between them. Griffin is reluctant to believe in the magic that guides Sass’s life. Someone does not want the couple to have a future and is willing to do whatever it takes.

Griffin Sampson has always shied away from the magic that seems to surround his small hometown. While his mother believed in the magic and tried to instill that belief in her children, Griffin’s father was adamant that the magic was unreal. Griffin is unable to understand why he is suddenly so drawn to his sister Tina’s friend Sass. He cannot get enough of Sass, but has trouble believing and accepting Sass’s magic. Amazed at the weird happenings that are occurring in his life, Griffin only knows that he wants to be with Sass.

Mara Lee’s Parlor Tricks is a wonderful story of the love and magic that results between a man and a woman. Griffin must accept the magic that has always been in his life in order to accept the love that he and Sass share. The chemistry, emotional and sexual, between the couple is amazing. Griffin may not believe but he loves Sass enough not to discount it.
