Once Bitten

Bali Itara has had a strange and difficult life. Her mother died when she was very young. Her father, the original mad scientist, began his genetic experiments on her when she was eight years old, using her as his own personal test subject. When she was thirteen, the war ended, and so did his “tinkering.” When his experimentation with prisoners of war was discovered, Rudriv went into hiding to avoid imprisonment, leaving Bali alone to face the scorn and outrage of her nation, as well as the nations of the mutants her father had created. The genetic experiments stopped, yet they continued wreaking havoc on her body. If left untreated, they will eventually kill her. The only treatment seems to involve a Draconian, an alien race whose bite, filled with adaptagen and delivered at the height of sexual release, may correct all the changes made by her father. Her doctor and friend, Icki, points her to Domino.

Domino D’rath can’t believe that Icki has delivered Bali to him. Although she doesn’t realize it, he owes her for saving him from Rudiv, and has been searching for her ever since. Once he understands what she wants from him, he’s torn. Domino is attracted to Bali, but is he willing to sacrifice his future to save her, the daughter of his tormentor? For Once Bitten, both of their lives will change.

This is a fast moving story of betrayal and forgiveness, as well as love and understanding. Although Bali’s life is by no means normal, she dreams of a life without the side effects of her father’s experimentation – both physically on her body and mentally in regards to the mutants and their feelings and rights. She believes that she is ready to die, but Icki’s suggestion of a Draconian bite makes her realize that she will fight for every last moment…especially if it involves Domino. She’s never been attracted to anyone like she is to Domino. He’s alien, arrogant and domineering, but also sexy and caring. Domino is torn about what to do with Bali. He must decide if he is willing to give her what she needs and wants, because if he does, his life will also change. The sexual tension builds quickly between them, with gratification not far behind. Their relationship evolves and you will enjoy seeing the transformation. In addition, the twists and turns of this story will keep you on your toes and the sexual encounters will have you squirming in your seat.
