Why don't you ever see the headline "Psychic Wins Lottery"?
I don't know, but if Uri Geller bends any of my spoons, I'll make him buy me new ones. ~
Lucinda Betts
We do win, we just psychic you all into forgetting that we won. That way you won't notice when we win again and again and again. You all those times when no winner was found? Well, that was us. We won, we just made everyone forget (after the check was cashed, of course). ~
Jade Lee
Letters are too hard to read from a distance???? ~
Karen Kay
Because then they'd be inundated with other people wanting numbers. They just say "I picked it at random" to avoid the hassle. ~
Mechele Armstrong
Because they make everyone forget of course. Everyone knows that! I think...oh wait, what were you talking about again? ~
Maggie Nash
They do, they just don't tell anyone because their check would be taken away due to the unfair advantage. ~
Michelle M. Pillow
For the same reason we don't see "IRS form 1040_FengShui...Psychic Winnings Report" ~
Sahara Kelly
If you won the lottery, would you tell anyone you actually were a psychic? Not me, I'd take my money and get the heck out of dodge. What am I saying? I wouldn't even tell my relatives I won! ~
Jenna Leigh
Cause if they won and announced they were psychic, they would have everyone hounding them. ~
Savannah Black
I don't know but I did read that Elvis was abducted by Aliens and is now living in Cleveland. ~
Kimber Chin
This one is simple . They don't advertise when they win. They figure if they tell people how they did it, there won't be any more lotteries left for them to win. ~
Allison Knight
Winning psychics never admit their gift, or they'd be banned, like card counters at casinos. ~
Annette Blair
Actually, it happens all the time. But if they called attention to themselves in the media, they'd have to wear a sign on their back "I'm a friggin' idiot!" for waving a red flag in front of the IRS. Who wants media attention if it lands them in jail? Psychics are way smarter than Paris Hilton. ~
Jordan Dane
Nobody knows -- not even the psychic. ~

Tell me about the first time you picked up an erotic book.
I stumbled across Ellora's Cave by accident and was forever hooked. My first erotic book was Elizabeth's Wolf by Lora Leigh, and now I auto-buy everything she writes. ~ Cathy M.
Congratulations to Cathy M. who won her choice of eBooks from Rosa Romance!

You've lived and traveled in some of the most exotic locations on earth. If you had to decide tomorrow a new location to spend a couple of years where would you go?
Oooh, fun question. I think I'd like to try somewhere in South America this time. Maybe Brazil. I can check out the festivals, eat the food, maybe even learn to dance! Then again, I've always wanted to visit India. And the Pacific Islands are so beautiful…:)
Enchanted Seasons is a holiday anthology due out in October, can you tell us about your contribution to this star studded effort?
The story is called
Beat of Temptation and is about Nathan and Tamsyn, two characters who first appeared in
Slave to Sensation. Nathan and Tamsyn are both leopard changelings (shapeshifters), and in
StS, we see them as a mated couple, with a pair of adorable little cubs. I really love these two characters so when it was time to write a novella, I knew I wanted to tell their story-in that sense,
Beat of Temptation is a prequel of sorts.
We get to see Nate as a young, stubborn sentinel, determined not to push a much younger Tamsyn into a bond demanded by the hearts of their beasts. Tammy, however, hungers so incredibly for Nathan that she's determined that this Christmas, this stubborn cat will be hers.
While this story is set in the Psy/Changeling world, I wrote it so that even for those who haven't read my other books, it should make perfect sense. And for readers of my series, it will give you an intriguing look into DarkRiver's past.
It's been a long week of writing, editing and coming up with new ideas. Now the weekend is here and you can actually relax how would you spend the next 24 hours? One restriction, you're unable to pick up a book!
No book, egads!! Hmm, well, I might get it into my head to plan my next trip ;) Or closer to home, I might go for a drive. New Zealand is such a beautiful country and the beach is never very far away. So I can see myself on the beach, watching the waves crash onto the shore.
Of course, I can also see myself plonked down with popcorn, the remote and a Bollywood movie. I love Bollywood! The drama, the action, the romance. Sigh. It's great for a romance lover like me.
In September you released the third book in your Psy-Changeling series, Caressed by Ice. How have your fans received this latest installment and is this the end or can we expect more from this fascinating world?
When I wrote
CBI, I wasn't sure how readers would react to a cold Psy assassin of a hero, but the reviews and feedback have been incredibly positive. I think Judd might even have turned some die-hard changeling hero fans into rooting for a Psy hero!
And it's definitely not the last installment. Book 4,
Mine to Possess, comes out next Feb. The overarching story arc of the world is developing book by book, and there are going to be some major events in the upcoming stories. I'm having too much fun with this world and its characters to end it so soon!
Last but not least as a woman of many skill sets, if you had to decide what previous job was the most challenging which one would you select?
While I've worked in several different areas, I'd say I've had two long-term jobs prior to writing full time and both of them were challenging - I find them very hard to compare because they were so different.
With being a lawyer, I had the challenge of working in a big corporate situation, dealing with clients, juggling files to make sure papers got filed on time and letters were sent out. Time was just such a precious commodity and the pressure could get intense.
With being an English teacher in rural Japan, I had to deal with the fact that most of the people around me didn't speak English, including my immediate boss. I had to do the balance thing again, too, but this time with forty-strong classes of energetic six-year-olds, and the same of exam-minded fifteen-year-olds. I also had to learn the rules of courtesy and behavior in a very unique society.
Both utterly different jobs with utterly different challenges. And both experiences that taught me so much.

Outside of, what I've heard are beautiful feet, if you had to select a body part of yours that was most appealing which one would you pick?
Sneaky, sneaky. Before I answer this I've got to give a bit of a run down on the whole beautiful feet thing. The story goes like this … While in the hardware store the other day I got picked up on by a man with a foot fetish. I posted the story on the forum I share with Lena Matthews and evidently someone else was lurking about. hehehe
Now back to the question at hand. I'd have to say my eyes.
October is a busy month for you with two new releases from two different publishers. Chance of a Lifetime is your contemporary offering. With a Red Hot rating I'm curious what this latest addition to your bookshelf will offer?
The Chance of a Lifetime is a sequel to
California Cowboy which released at Samhain Publishing in July.
In The Chance of a Lifetime you will meet rancher Chance Bodine and the woman he loves and doesn't care who knows it, massage therapist, Lacey Winslow. Lacey is recovering from a nasty divorce and wants nothing more than to make it on her own. Chance, of course, wants the exact opposite. Sparks tend to fly while the stubborn fools get it all figured out.
Your honey has been a bad boy and is in need of some punishment, what instrument of pleasure would you choose for the job?
This question had me laughing hysterically. I'm thinking he'd either have to spank me or flog me until his arm was about ready to drop off. Punishment for him and pleasure for the masochistic streak in me. lol
Tied and Tempting, your second release due out in the month of October is part of the Halloween themed tales. Are the characters in this novella new or are you revisiting a well loved couple from one of your hit stories?
All the characters in
Tied and Tempting are new. I had a lot of fun writing this book, seemed like my naughty imagination was running wild for this one.
Since October is the month of ghouls and goblins what movie would you rate as the top horror movie of all time?
These types of questions are always very hard for me since I almost never watch TV and very seldom go to the movies. It seems like I'm always way out of the loop. After thinking on it for just a bit and deciding to go with the Halloween theme, I'm going to skip over the Exorcist, which game me nightmares for weeks, and say the first Halloween.
