When choosing a book to read, what first draws your attention, the blurb or the cover?

The cover will draw my attention, but the blurb will usually tell me if I want to read it or not. ~ Karen H.

Shadow Magic is due to be released April 29th. What can readers expect from this story?

Hannah and Garran's relationship can't possibly succeed. She lives in the light, while an ancient curse binds him in darkness. She's used to being the boss. He's a proud Drow king unwilling to hand over control to any woman, even a beautiful witch who steals his heart the moment he meets her. She's a loyal alliance member--and most of the magical world thinks he's a traitor. Worse yet, Hannah's trying to survive a witch-killer who's fracturing her coven, and Garran has a secret. A deadly and cruel secret that threatens to snatch him right out of Hannah's arms, no matter how much they struggle to hold each other tight. How can they find a path to a future with each other?

Imagine Romeo and Juliet . . . with elves and witches. Oh, and ditch the poison and daggers. These two will never give up in their fight to win this war--or their battle to be together.

You're bookshelf is overflowing with titles but what book, from your published works, did you feel was the most challenging to write?

Definitely MOVING TARGET was the most difficult book I've ever written, yet it's my critique partners' favorite! I had to really step beyond my comfort zone to write it. I worked with wonderful people from the US Marshals Service for the Witness Security Program, a federal agent, a charge nurse at a burn trauma unit, a psychologist, a city councilman, an individual who is fluent in Russian. I also had to learn about the assistant District Attorney's office, courtroom procedure, and the Russian mafia. And weapons, and so forth-it was all amazing. And difficult for me because I was completely out of my element and had to learn so much. Except for the sex scenes. Those I had no problem with. ;o)

What exotic location could you see becoming your home away from home if cost wasn't an issue?

I really enjoyed Kauai when my family visited there in January. Wouldn't Princetown be great?!

There are so many places I want to go, things I want to do. I've been to the Italian Riviera, the French Riviera, Monaco, the Bahamas, the Key West… But those are only the tip of the iceberg, so to speak. I'd love to travel anywhere and anywhere.

Your life has been chosen for a new reality series. What name do you think best suits this new show?

Cheyenne sitting with Butt in Chair writing all day long? I don't think my life is exciting enough for a reality series! Write, write, write, write!

If you could have one paranormal ability, what would it be and why?

Time travel. To be able to go forward and backward in time, that would be so cool. That and being able to eat anything in the world I want to and stay thin. Can that be a paranormal ability?

It's been a long week of writing, editing and coming up with new ideas. Now the weekend is here and you can actually relax how would you spend the next 24 hours? One restriction, you're unable to pick up a book!

No book?? Actually, I'd lose myself in Azeroth or Middle Earth. *grins* In other words, I'd spend the whole weekend playing World of Warcraft or Lord of the Rings Online.

Realms of Fantasy was just released with Samhain publishing. Can you tell readers what to expect with this book?

Realms of Fantasy is full of our usual fare: hot men, angst, a good amount of conflict, intense sex--all combined with wings and horns.

I have a weakness for angels and demons, so when we came up with the idea for the anthology, I was all over it. Shayne was just as happy to give in. Throughout the stories, as usual, we each had our primary characters, and it still amazes me how strong the chemistry is between each and every one.

These stories are not light. They're actually quite dark, with a deep sense of soul-shattering revelation (usually on the angels' parts).

Fast forward five years from now, the books are all bestsellers, you're a household name and life could never be better, what would be the next item on your must accomplish list?

World domination.Well, I suppose I'd go for the Welsh castle first. THEN world domination.

You have the chance to have dinner with a famous entertainer. Who would you jump at the chance to spend an evening with?

Johnny Depp! Oh, like y'all didn't see that one coming.Seriously. The man is a genius. A very sexy, very talented, very hot genius.

Congratulations! You just won a year off from work to travel anywhere in the world and write the story of your dreams. Where do you go, what type of book do you write, and what's the title?

    Where: Wales
What book: my Templar novel that keeps eluding me What title: All God's Men
I swear: I WILL write this book. Just need the right spark. *sighs*
