If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress?
Depends on who is in power. ~
Lucinda Betts
Yes. ~

Mechele Armstrong

Michelle M. Pillow

Sahara Kelly
Yes, well, that would the reason they never get anything done, now wouldn't it? Well, that and the whole, inability to pour wee out of boot with the instructions on the bottom. ~
Jenna Leigh
Finally you hit the nail on the head. ~
Savannah Black
I'd have to plead the 5th on this. (Looking around nervously). I'm pretty sure my email is tapped. ~
Kimber Chin
Absolutely. Given the present set of circumstances, they should be called Regress instead of Congress. ~
Allison Knight
Yeah, maybe so, but so is pronto and prompt. ~
Titania Ladley
Duh, politics. I'd have to say - yes. ~

What new author has grabbed your interest?
A friend passed along her copy of Dreamwalkers by Kathleen Dante and I couldn't put it down. Loved the magical aspects of this wonderful romance story, and just placed an order for two more of her books. ~ Cathy M.
Congratulations to Cathy who has won a copy of Thirst for Revenge by Megan Rose!

R.G. Alexander

Your August release, Lux In Shadow, is the second book in the Children Of The Goddess series, tell us a bit about this book, was it already in your mind when you wrote the first, Regina In The Sun?
Almost as soon as I began to write
Regina, the hero's brother Lux tried to take over. He was the reason for most of my editing. Halfway through the book I knew I would have to give him his own story. And when Arygon crossed his path, I knew that story was going to get really interesting.
In
Lux in Shadow, Regina has sent Lux and Arygon to find Grey Wolf's sister. She'd seen into the Shadow's heart and knew the girl was in danger, though she didn't know why.
Lux is still tortured by the death of his lover, a death he could have prevented. Too tortured to give in to the passionate Arygon. Though he is one gorgeous, persistent Alpha.
When the two men find Sylvain, a sheltered and innocent beauty with power beyond imagining, passions ignite-and suddenly none of them are certain of the future.
I love your Gaia City series, are there more coming and how much fun do you have writing them?
Thank you! I have to admit, I didn't know there was going to be more than one. I already had the
Veil series at Ellora's Cave, and the
Children of the Goddess series at Samhain started when I wrote
Who Wants to Date a Superhero?
Then, nosy person that I am, I had to know what was going to happen to Dayna and Rock Hammer. So
Who Needs Another Superhero? was born. There may be more…oh who am I kidding? There will probably be more. They are just way too much fun to write.
If you were one of Gaia City's Guardians what superpower would you have and what would you be called?
That's hard. I really love Theta Wave's abilities, but I think I'd have to pick time travel (there's that nosy factor coming into play again-I have to know everything). My name? Maybe Tempus Fugit? Or Relativity? Great, now I have to write another story. *chuckle*
What are the best and worst character traits of R.G. Alexander?
Ask a hard question, why don't ya? Well, I'm a horrible plotter, I'm not very organized with my notes, and I'm easily distracted by shiny things and online forums.
On the positive side, being true to my characters is really important to me, I have an organized husband who remembers my notes and finds my glasses, and when I'm distracted I come up with some pretty interesting ideas. So it balances out.
If you were a food, what would you be and why?
I had no idea, so I asked erotica author and one of my dearest friends, Eden Bradley, what food she thought I was. She said I was a Chocolate Volcano(Lava) Cake, because I am sweet with a hot liquid center. That makes me sound far more exciting than I am, but I'm going with it. Left to my own devices, I probably would have picked mashed potatoes.
P.C. Cast

If you could be any super hero who would you be and why?
I like Storm from X-Men. As you can tell from my books, I'm fascinated with the elements and being able to control the weather goes along well with that fascination.
Untamed is the fourth book in your House of Night series. What can readers expect from this release?
They can expect to be scared! I freaked my own self out writing this one. As readers already know, Zoey made a mess for herself by the conclusion of
Chosen, so she has to fix her personal life as she discovers an ancient evil that threatens the
House of Night world.
What is your favorite line from Untamed?
I couldn't possibly choose a single line. I can say that I loved writing the Othello scene with Zoey and Erik.
What mythical animal best describes your personality?
I like the Gorgon. I think she gets a bad rap in the patriarchal version of her mythos. She was probably strong and beautiful and didn't put up with crap from guys - so they turned her into a terrible monster with hair made of snakes who changed men to stone. Yeah, right...
What things do you find yourself doing that you said you'd "never" do?
Actually, when I say no I really mean no (a lesson too many young women need to learn). So there's really nothing I've said I won't do that I've waffled around...changed my mind...waffled some more...and then done.
