    Sexplorations Authors

The two of you are collaborating on a new series called, Sexplorations, can you tell us a little about it?

SK: Well, only a little. If we tell you too much you might not buy the books. LOL The series is about women…their friends, their lovers, their adventures. Six friends, all different, and yet all women you might live next door to, or have as a friend yourself. I'll let Ciana take over here…

CS: Aside from being romantic, these books have a unique foundation and that's the friendship between the women. ( I won't mention the men-to-die-for, heel-drumming, "dayum, I didn't know it could be like this!" sexplorations:)

Where did you get the inspiration for the women in the books?

SK: There's this big warehouse in a hidden valley tucked behind one of the Grand Tetons. It has sections for "Inspiration", "Plot twists", "Horrible Endings" and my personal favorite…"Things that drive readers Nuts". (grin) Seriously? From friends.

CS: Definitely from friends. Who else is gonna tell you all the juicy bits that inspire the writing mind to go "hey now!"

If you were a piece of lingerie, what would you be and why?

SK: Hmm. I think I'd like to be a Victorian lace nightgown. So sensual and subtle, very floaty and feminine, but you know damn well there's a hot woman simmering beneath….

CS: *Snort* Grannie panties 'cause I sure as heck am not going through life wedged up someone's butt. Seriously.

    Boxers or briefs?

SK: I suppose boxers. I find briefs ride up on me and wrinkle in uncomfortable places. Plus they show under tight jeans. I hate VPL. (Visible panty lines).

CS: Definitely boxer. They breathe and let me feel a degree of freedom - plus you can get them with cute cartoon characters like the Tasmania Devil.:)

What is your significant others pet name for you?

SK: Wuffy-Poo-Snugglebuns. LOL Okay, he doesn't have one. "Hey honey" works just fine. LOL

CS: Oh wonderful goddess of all things female, Supreme High Empress of the Universe (I got upgraded this year from Galaxy), and my favorite…She Who Causes the Sun to Rise (very mystical I think). Of course, those are all quite a mouthful - and I'm sworn to secrecy on the "intimate" names. :)

You're newest release Secret Wishes is out just in time for the holidays. Can you tell us a little about it?

It's about two lost souls that find each other with the help of meddling ghosts who need a little magic of their own.

What was the hardest part of writing Ross and Emma's story?

Getting Ross to let himself love Emma. That guy was one of my most stubborn heroes.

What is one of your favorite holiday traditions?

I love listening to Christmas music. I have it playing all day long.

What is one thing you'd like to ask Santa for?

My son to get into the college he wanted.

Can you tell us a little about your upcoming book More Than A Wife and what you love most about writing Regencies?

The Earl of Westbrook discovers how complicated life can be when you marry your mistress. The things he loved about Corina before their wedding embarrass him now. Convinced she's hurting the husband she loves, Corina leaves - until the ton's mysterious Bliss Society offers her a trade. They'll show her upper class skills if she'll teach them sexual expertise.

I'm co-writing this series with my friend Donna McAteer. It's been great fun working with her. We are hard at work on the next book in the series. More Than A Wife will be out Feb 1 from Whiskey Creek Press. See my website for an excerpt.
