Theodora Morgan is branded as a healer to some and a witch to others. Theo has spent her life traveling from town to town, secretly healing the sick, then leaving when the community begins to detect her healing capabilities. Theo has finally found a place to call home, a place where she operates a craft shop, made friends with three fellow witches and continues to heal the sick. Dante has a few problems with his new task including Theodora doesn’t know that she is a Lightbringer, Theodora has no idea that the horrible Crusades are trying to kill her, and most important, Theodora has awoken desires in him that Dante thought he buried long ago. Now Dante must protect Theodora from the Crusade while dealing with his increasing desires.

Dark Watcher is a unique romantic tale with just the right amount of dark danger to keep the reader’s interest. Theodora is a powerful witch with an enormous heart for the ailing. Lilith Saintcrow did a terrific job with Theodora trying to cope with Dante’s dark world as a Watcher and how Theodora was able to bring joy and warmth into Dante’s life. Ms. Saintcrow created the right amount of romance for the tender heart to take pleasure in reading. I am proud to bestow this read with 4 Angels.
