Immortal Beloved

Adrien Roth was out for revenge. He wanted Devon to pay for what was done to him and he knew he had the answer to how best exact that revenge, take the lives of Devon's wife and unborn children. Where Devon and the others had embraced the life of being Kynn, Adrien fought against it. He hated the life he now lived, he didn't want to take from humans in order to survive, but the beast had to be fed. Adrien had made sure that Devon knew he was coming for him. Now Devon had called in Morgan to take care of the problem with Adrien, but Morgan has other ideas on how to fix the situation. Morgan knew that Adrien had met his blood mate and he was going to make sure they stayed together. But could Morgan make a man bent on revenge acknowledge love or would his revenge keep Cassie and Adrien apart forever?

Cassie knew she wanted to see more and have more with Adrien than he was willing to give. But it felt so right to be with him. She wanted forever even though she didn't have much time left, not with the cancer eating at her brain. Not that Adrien knows she is dieing, she swore she wouldn't burden another person with the knowledge because she knew he'd leave as soon as he knew. After months of being together, Cassie can feel that Adrien is leaving her anyway. How can she stop him, she knows it's not much longer before she dies, but she wants every last moment she can have with him.

Ms. Jenson has written a compelling, exciting and fascinating tale of a man who thought he'd lost everything; only to find that maybe he was wrong. The path that Adrien walks is a lonely one and the author shows how he evolves from that loner into someone that cares about others. Ms. Jenson makes the reader feel everything the characters do, to see what they see, to want them to find what will make them whole again. I love the scene where Adrien tells Morgan to leave Cassie out of it, as she is innocent of the situation. It shows he finally admits that he loves her and would trade his life for her. I am looking forward to reading more of Ms. Jenson's work, she knows how to draw readers into her stories and want more with every page. 5 Angels
