What do Maggie Golden and Josh Landau in the present day have in common with Hannah and Solomon who lived in the late 1930’s? Why is Maggie unable to make a firm commitment to Josh even though she has loved him her entire life? Why do her dreams of Hannah have a different quality to them? Almost as if Hannah is reaching out to her through time and space to deliver a message.

Maggie and Josh grew up together. There is no doubt that Josh loves Maggie with all his heart and soul. While Maggie has spent her life loving Josh, she has not been able to say the words and return the emotion. Maggie begins to have dreams that are at times troubling about a woman she knows is named Hannah. Through the dreams, Maggie becomes a third party observer and participant in Hannah and Solomon’s life. As the dreams become more intense and more frequent Maggie finally confides their impact on her to Josh. Josh listens and then does some of his own research to find out that Hannah and Solomon were once very much alive and living in the town Maggie has dreamt about.

Ms. Hart offers a fascinating expose on reincarnation and how someone in the modern day might come in touch with the cares, concerns and triumphs of a prior life. She artfully brings to life how a betrayal from one life can be carried and re-enacted in another over and over until the puzzle is solved. This talented author brings to life not only the sights, smells and sounds of a modern day town, through Maggie’s dreams, she transports the reader to the early days of World War II in Poland and the devastation the Nazi’s brought upon the Jews of the time.

While some aspects of the story relate to the Jewish faith, Ms. Hart opens the door to the non-Jewish reader by explaining, through the character’s eyes, what these beliefs and ceremonies mean.

This is a wonderful story of love transcending time and space and how souls will come together in life time after life time.
