Loves Magic Spell

Lisa McDonald has been in love with the owner of her company, Josh Evans, for as long as she has worked at his company. Unfortunately, he’s about to marry the beautiful and very fake Serene Ridgemont, that is, until Lisa’s very own fairy godmother Lucienda steps in to change the future. Suddenly, instead of sitting at her office desk typing up another report, Lisa is in front of the altar about to marry Josh, who is smiling at her and making her heart do flip flops in her chest. Sounds like Cinderella right? Well, Love’s Magic Spell definitely seems like a fairy tale come true, but there’s just one catch, Lisa has only five days to win Josh’s love, five days in which they can’t consummate their relationship, or everything reverts to the way it was before Lucienda stepped into Lisa’s life.

Lisa is determined to fill every day of their honeymoon in Aruba with romance, special moments, and lots of cuddling. Unfortunately, Serene is also in Aruba, determined to destroy Lisa and Josh’s budding romance. When the fifth day rolls around, will Lisa and Josh be able to consummate their love or will the devious Serene ruin their future? It may seem like a happily-ever-after is in the cards for Lisa and Josh, but Kelly McDonough has a few surprises up her sleeve that will have the reader very surprised with the outcome of this story.

This was a great story! Lisa was such a great heroine because she was willing to take a few risks in order to make her new marriage to Josh a success. She wasn’t going to go down without a fight, even when the unexpected happened. The romance between these two characters was sweet and very tender. This is definitely not an erotic love story, but Kelly McDonough definitely included plenty of romance and tender lovemaking to satisfy any romance reader’s avarice for sexy details. Lucienda added a lot of spark and humor to this story as she flitted in and out of Lisa’s thoughts. She was eager to help this romance, but she wasn’t going to break any rules to do it, though sometimes she added a little fairy godmother magic to help the situation along. This was a very well paced story with a great writing style that really kept the reader engaged in the story. This was a first class romance from start to finish and should go on every reader’s must-buy list.
