Elemental Passion

Maggie Gronick is one of the best agents The Guild has. This mage always gets her asset. When she sees Devon Ruger closing in on her assignment, she is irritated but decides to use the sexy Kight Street agent’s help to her own ends. However before she can escape, the mission goes awry. As they scramble for cover, Maggie feels the elemental passion that exists whenever Devon is near her. To give in is not part of Maggie’s objective and might get them all killed, but to resist means ignoring the other half of herself.

Natalie Damschroder is to be applauded for her ability to create a short story that delivers sensual characters against the backdrop of a new, exciting world. She has demonstrated what a talented author can do within a short story. The plot is immediately engaging and the chemistry between Maggie and Devon is explosive. The tension that exists around their mission is intensified by the sensual attraction they are trying to resist. Maggie and Devon’s carnal drive vibrates from the pages and yet, Ms. Damschroder maintains their commitment to their team and mission. These are two immensely likeable characters. I personally loved this world and the characters the author has crafted. I hope we will be seeing more mages.
