The Magic Touch

Trinity Broussard does not believe in magic. This baffles her aunt Lorelei. Out of desperation, Lorelei summons Nicholas Deveraux .Nicholas is not really his real name, for where he exists there are no names. Nicholas must bring out Trinity's suppressed powers before he can get his boon prize. Despite not being human, he is drawn to Trinity. He must make her tap into powers that are hidden deep within. Trinity is a feisty woman who has deliberately denied magic because of the pain it caused her in the past. Nicholas arouses her passions and anger. He knows that when he fires her emotions, she must pull herself out of self denial. However, his love is not supposed to be, and Nicholas sadly acknowledges this to himself. Trinity and Nicholas will have to use the magic between them to save a love that is destined to disappear. A betrayal from someone close to Trinity will show her the true meaning of fighting for a chance at happiness.

The Magic Touch is filled with vivid imagination and eroticism. I loved how the magic portrayed in this story was described with ease and made very believable, I adored the entire cast in this tale of paranormal love. Trinity reaches out to the reader with her imperfect features, which makes her very real and likeable. Nicholas is a tragic hero in that he has not been a man for over five hundred years and is enslaved somehow to those that summon him. I wish could have learned more about him. Perhaps Julia Talbot will write a sequel! Please do indulge yourself with The Magic Touch.
