Tabitha escaped to Blue Ridge Mountain to get away from people. She has been cursed with sensing people's true emotions. The only person who shared the gift was her grandmother. Tabitha has been unlucky in love, since she knows the true insecurities of males thanks to her gift. When she constantly bumps into her quiet neighbor Kenji, the attraction builds between them. But Kenji has his own secrets. He cannot control the fox animal in him that comes out randomly. Tabitha and Kenji need each other, they just don't realize how much.

Foxfire touched this reader because of the simple problem the hero and heroine shared together. Both are lonely and feel that no one will ever love or accept their true natures. This story proves that each of us has somebody out there that will help us through the tough times and love unconditionally our true selves.

Survivor by Liddy Midnight

Harna comes to Doug in dreams, whispering to him, "My chosen Warrior." He doesn't understand what she means. Harna knows he is her mate and will lead her people to victory. When a horrible accident leads Pilot Doug of the Screaming Dragons into Harna's world, he is amazed. For they can shape change into dragons and so can he. But is this a dream or reality? What will happen if they fall in love and must separate? He fears the worst.

Interesting concept of dragons in Survivor. Harna's world is like Doug's but yet different. I found myself intrigued by Harna and Doug's relationship. Harna is a strong willed woman who fits beautifully with the brave, warrior Doug.

Taking Shape by Tielle St. Clare

Nicholas Conner enjoys his job at Conner Investigation. Being a detective requires getting in, blending in and getting out without being noticed. He can change shape into anything his hand touches, an object, person or animal. His newest assignment is checking out Tally Hayward. Her company Air Press Incorporated believes she is embezzling money from them. Nicholas comes up with the brilliant idea of taking shape of her boyfriend so he can get close to her. This backfires, because when he starts to fall in love with her, she believes he is Richard and not himself. He has to think of a very clever way to tell her the truth.

This is the best story of the anthology. The sex has never been hotter and the rubber ducky scene wins hands down. Nicholas is amusing, intelligent and very sensual. Tally's mundane life becomes very adventurous once Nicholas takes over. Get out the hose, cause you'll be on fire after reading this.

I would recommend this anthology for those that love shapeshifters and exotic love stories. Each story is unique and definitely worth reading!
