Taming Him

Maggie is a writer, sending various materials to magazines for publication. She hasn’t written any fiction, but with her active imagination, she sure has enough raw materials to dip her feet in to the fiction pool – especially the erotica genre. The dreams she has been having for the past few months prove that. Wowee, they set her aflame. They are certainly not due to her just dumped boyfriend, the jerk. Claiming impotence when he was screwing anything in a skirt – except her. Huh! Coming from a moneyed family, his disbelief when she dumped him was vastly amusing, but his constant phone calls afterward were not. Which is why she is here, in the Ozarks, driving along an empty country road at night in the middle of nowhere. She has never believed in extraterrestrial beings or anything of that nature. This is why she is having a difficult time getting her mind around what is happening. First a spacecraft lands in front of her malfunctioning car, and then an alien who claims her destiny is to be his wife kidnaps her! How did she end up in this situation? Does she decide to stay with him, or find a way home, back to Earth? Does she recognize the uncanny resemblance between her dream lover and this alien? What does he mean when he says she has to tame the dragon when she becomes his wife?

Vladei has been waiting for the one he is to call wife for a year now. Traveling through space is a lonely business. He wants a woman to travel with him, in his quarters, but by law only a wife is allowed. He appealed to the gods, making a blood sacrifice (his own blood). They indicated to him that he would find his intended on Earth. For the past year, he has been preparing her through her dreams for their life together. During that time he has not taken another woman to his bed, and for a Dragoona, who need sexual release very often, this has been a remarkable feat. Even in their shared dreams, he did not allow himself orgasm. Now he finally has her aboard his craft. How will she take to the sexual delights of his culture? Is she the one he has been looking for? Is she a match for him, in carnal appetite, temper and nature?

I love this author’s work! She is a fabulous writer whose characters are developed to a very high standard. They are extremely likeable and are the type that you want to see happy and succeeding in all they do. All her books are brilliantly written. I would not hesitate to read any of her work. I know that I adore her style of writing and am positive that nothing she writes could ever be a let down. Taming Him does not fall below the bench mark set by her other tales that I have read. As with the others, I simply could not stop reading it and became fully engrossed in the plotline. The first few pages are fraught with an escalating tension as we wonder what is to become of Maggie. The rest of the novel is sheer erotic delight that will most definitely please all erotica fans. All sexual encounters are described in detail. Please be aware there are multiple ménages, the numbers of which I have not come across before making this story highly original and refreshing on this scene. There is also anal sex and double penetration, in addition to oral sex. If you are not heavily into erotica, this may be one to pass on. It is pure carnal delight that definitely got my panties soaked. I have treasured reading this novel, which is shorter than the previous ones I have read by Ms. Pillow but no less enjoyable. A must for all erotica fans!
