Mara Lee has written an explosive vampire tale that is riddled with passion, danger, and humor. If readers are not gritting their teeth, they will be doubled over laughing so hard or fanning their faces to offset the sizzling passion. If Lex were a werewolf, he would definitely be the alpha male. He goes after what he wants and will deal with the consequences later. Since he is a vampire, he claims his mate and explains later, but refuses to give her up. Katherine is a woman whose life is one crazy hectic ordeal everyday. Now she finds herself struggling not only with the normal things but also her attraction to the one individual that she should despise. Mara Lee has done a tremendous job creating realistic characters that readers can latch onto and care for immediately. The tantalizing erotic passion between Lex and Katherine could very possibly leave readers wanting a vampire of their own. Lex would leave anyone breathless: he sure left me that way. Blood Passion is definitely worth taking the time to read and the 4 Angels it earned!
