Caution: Man at Work
Kelly is a single mother raising twin sons that just cannot seem to stay out of trouble. They are not bad boys; they are just energetic and imaginative boys. Once again she is without a live-in housekeeper and unable to locate one. When her dear friend Rachel suggests running an ad in the newspaper, she is left with no other option. Little does Kelly realize what that ad will get her. Dealing with a new housekeeper along with her ex-husband could prove to be more emotions than she is prepared for, but it could also be more rewarding than she first imagined it would be. Will she regret taking Rachel’s advice?
Cole is a journalist and not a bad one either. He has written some of the most insightful and rewarding articles over the past years. He has set his sites on writing one in regards to the growing trend of man stepping into the roles of the stay-at-home parent to successful businesswomen. Always wanting to ensure the authenticity of his stories, he poses as a nanny, replies to a help wanted ad, and starts his research. Unfortunately, Cole is unprepared for the physical attraction to his new boss, her compassionate and playful twins, and the emotional consequences of having a job like this. Will Cole be happy with what he learns for his article or is there more to this than just a story?
Caution: Man at Work is a wonderfully delightful story about finding happiness and love where you least expect. Cole is a passionate yet driven man on a mission, but he might have gotten himself into more than he bargained for. He was looking for a story and found a masterpiece he refuses to part with. Kelly’s inability to trust and open her heart to another man is something that she forgot to tell her heart. This story instantly grabbed me with the schemes plotted by two five-year-old twins and the struggles that Kelly has due to them. However, before I realized it, I was engrossed in the wonderful chemistry between Cole and Kelly. This story is one that touched my heart, is riddled with emotions, and will be a favorite of mine for quite some time. I will recommend this story to anyone that loves a touching romance with moments of side-splitting humor and a wonderful cast of characters. The story that Cole ends up with is one that will touch any reader with a rewarding and heartfelt embrace. Linda Wisdom has done a wonderful job making a very realistic tale of a single mom struggling with a career, twin sons, a dysfunctional ex-husband, and one beautifully crafted man right under her nose. I am awarding the strongest rating possible to Linda Wisdom’s Caution: Man at Work because it is truly worth every one of the 5 Angels as well as a Recommended Read!
