Ebb Moon

Kyne has been bitten by a Bukri, werewolf. Her family has exiled her and sent her to live with the king, for permanent keeping. They have no use for her. She finds herself consumed with emotions that she does not, and cannot, understand. When a man finds her in the midst of the forest, she finds herself confused and alone. Jasper is the king’s advisor. Stumbling onto a young lady in the lands surrounding the castle, he is taken aback by her presence; there is something about her. When he meets her again later that night, he learns that he was not mistaken. She is a beautiful woman riddled with the soul of something else. Will Jasper be able to save Kyne from herself and everyone else? What lengths will he go to, to be with her, when he realizes he loves her? Will being exiled turn out to be as Kyne thought it would?

Ebb Moon immediately throws readers into the fierce personality of Kyne. Readers will be drawn to both the characters of Kyne and Jasper. Kyne finds herself filled with nothing but uncertainty, while Jasper finds himself consumed with the desire to be with, and protect, her. The drastic measure that Jasper takes to ensure he is able to do so is touching and heartfelt. For a man to love a woman riddled with the feisty soul of a werewolf, he has to be a great one. Although this story is a short one, it was enjoyable to read. Emily Veinglory has gone a good job at writing a werewolf tale worth 4 Angels!
