Last Chance

Brad has a major decision to make and is unsure what the right decision is. Although, he has a dear friend, Sarah, he is concerned about discussing his dilemma with her. Visiting a witch for some guidance, Brad learns two things: follow his heart and wear a certain amulet at all times. Brad is more confused now than he was before seeing the witch. Settling in to the virtual world that he and Sarah share, he immediately realizes that something is wrong. Finding himself and Sarah submerged into the virtual fantasy world, he sees his opportunity to talk to Sarah about the only thing that he was unable to discuss via an Internet connection. Will Brad find out what follow your heart means? What will happen if Sarah finds out that Brad and a witch are the cause of her entering the virtual world? Is there a possibility for more between Brad and Sarah once their real lives are entwined into their virtual lives?

Last Chance is a short story that immediately draws readers into the virtual world of Brad and Sarah. Even though this is a quick read, readers will be offered a story with depth and emotions. Brad struggles to make a decision based on fear of someone else’s concerns: Sarah’s. Sarah is dealing with her feelings for someone that she is sure she cannot have. It was a pleasure to see the emotional connection between Brad and Sarah: two strangers that met in a virtual world. Kathryn Edgar has gone a great job at writing a quick fantasy read that will leave a smile on the face of everyone that reads it - 4 Angels!
