Moondance
What could possibly happen to one girl trying to catch a ride out of a deserted fuel stop? Zoey is fixing to find out, and it's more than she wanted and much more than she could have ever imagined.
Unfortunately for Zoey, she tends to get herself into trouble by ignoring her first instincts. While trying to hitch a ride with a trucker, Zoey meets a number of different individuals who open her eyes to more than she thought possible. Her travel companion collapses, a gorgeous truckers offers to help her out, and an intoxicating but creepy night manager leaves her dreaming of erotic interludes with him. What is Zoey to do? Once again her decision leaves her in more trouble than she is prepared to deal with, and soon she will be fighting for her very life. Will someone come to Zoey’s rescue? Will her choices bring her anything other than trouble?
Selah March opens this short story in the midst of panic and quick decisions, and does not let up there. Although this story is short, readers will be engrossed in Zoey’s crisis immediately. The character of Johnny is a wonderful contrast to the one of Lou. I enjoyed the wonderful addition of musical elements to this story. It only makes it more humorous and goes to show that Selah Marchhas worked diligently to add subtle hints along the way. Moondance is a short story of the dangers and passions that surround werewolves. Readers will find a wonderful story within a small number of pages. Selah March has done a good job at earning writing a story worth 4 Angels!
