Scarecrow & Betsy McGee Book III: Chinese Delight

Betsy McGee is at it again. Her delivery boy does not show up Friday night nor does he seem the type to just disappear. Unable to do anything else, Betsy investigates and in order to do that, she needs Roarke. Although, she dreams of her occasional partner/lover and wants to see him, Betsy is truly concerned for Charlie: her missing delivery boy. When Roarke receives the call from Betsy, he jumps at the chance to see Betsy again even if he tries to convince himself that they are nothing special. As the dangers mount around them, Roarke and Betsy find themselves once again in close quarters alone. Will Roarke and Betsy’s trend of being unable to keep their hands off one another continue? Can they figure out what has happened to Charlie?

Trixie Stilletto has created another installment in the Scarecrow & Betsy McGee series. This story is a wonderful story to read. The background information provided in this story would allow a reader to pick this story up even if they were not fortunate enough to have read the first two installments. Roarke and Betsy’s personalities are pleasant and believable while they draw the reader in to care about them. What wonderful characters: Roarke the strong law enforcement agent and Betsy the single mom that has gotten under his skin. Trixie Stilletto has done a beautiful job writing Scarecrow & Betsy McGee Book III: Chinese Delight with tender romance mixed with danger and suspense. This story is truly worth every one of the 5 Angels it earned!
