Before Marcos, Cybele has dealt with inner struggles for as long as she can remember. Readers will appreciate her triumphs and struggles. Marcos’ concern to keep Cybele safe from everyone, even himself, is heartfelt even for a vampire. Cybele desire to have the one thing in life that brings her peace is consuming.
