Vampiric Seduction

Jake Cunningham is a vampire in the midst of losing someone dear to him. During this painful process he is learning things about himself that leave him utterly confused. Being told that he must travel to the future to find love in the arms of a very unique woman, Casey, he sets out on a mission to save himself. He needs her rare blood in order to be what a vampire is meant to be: immortal. He also needs to end the rein of an evil vampire.

Little does he realize at that moment, Casey is in the midst of vivid nightmares that are becoming more dangerous with each one. When he arrives in the twenty-first century, he finds a desire woman that calls to him on a more intense level then he imagined. Along for the ride is Jake’s friend, Michael: who he shares a unique and passionate relationship with. Will Jake be able to get to Casey in time?

The premise behind Vampiric Seduction is unusual and imaginative. I enjoyed the paranormal aspects of time traveling and vampires mixed together. The strong relationship of Jake and his time traveling companion, Michael, adds a twist to the plot, but one that is deeply rooted with concern for one another. Mike and Jake’s ability to open Casey’s world to intense passion offers readers a glimpse of the softer side to a vampire. The interaction between Casey and her best friend, Clarissa, was enjoyable to experience. Casey and Clarissa bring a sense of humor to this story. The tender moments Jake and Casey share in their love and desire for each other is tender and heartfelt even in the midst of turmoil. Vampiric Seduction presents readers with an involved plot with numerous adventures that bounce between danger, passion, and time. Readers who remain diligent will find that the relationship between Jake and Casey is worth reading even with an extra man added in the mix. This story offers readers characters from many different walks of life and eras in time. Carol McKenzie has earned 3 Angels!
