Let It Be Love
Let It Be Love is another superb example of the writing talents of Victoria Alexander.
Lady Fiona Fairchild has come to London in hopes of finding a suitable husband. If she doesn’t find one immediately she will have to marryan American man, picked out by her belated father, in order to gain hers and her sisters’ inheritance. With the American already on his way to claim her, Fiona decides to heed the guidance of her cousin Oliver, and approach Jonathon Effington for his hand in marriage.
Jonathon Effington, the Marquess of Helmsley, planned to have a wonderful evening at the Christmas Ball, as usual, with a woman in the Library. Well known for these jaunts, he was looking forward to his yearly rendezvous. However, faith would play a trick on him when instead of the glorious widow he was expecting, Jonathan finds Fiona instead. Fiona’s proposal of marriage sends him for a whirlwind. Then, remembering the last discussion with several of his bachelor friends at their favorite club, Jonathan concludes that Fiona is part of a well thought out jest and he therefore accepts her proposal.
It isn’t long before Jonathon will find out the truth and have to help Fiona on her quest for a husband or risk having to marry her. Will these two find a one of a kind “passion” or will life lead them on a different journey all together? Answer this question for yourself and buy Let It Be Love today!
