Shelby’s Angels: Savage

Delsin’s past is coming back to bite him. The famed “Eyes of Shiva” are missing, and the presence of a god in his family tree makes him the only man for this job. The women of his family have been murdered, and the treasure they’ve guarded for seven centuries is simply gone. So, now supermodel-gorgeous exotic dancer Deslin must pose as a clothing designer and find the precious stones...and resist the curse the gems bring.

Shelby’s Angels: Savage is a frisky frolic through one man’s search for the family jewels, so to speak. Hilarious in the extreme, Savage is peppered with a stable of mouth-watering men, a bunch of bantering and a host of hot and sensual interludes. This is not for the faint of heart, though, as homoerotic themes are given free rein by the very talented and imaginative Stephanie Burke. I was amused and entertained by the cattiness of the Angels and the obvious reluctance of Shelby to their “suggestions” and makeover tips. This series is comical and a whole lot of fun; I look forward to more from Ms. Burke and her Shelby’s Angels series, which so far includes Shelby’s Angels: When Irish Eyes Are Dying, Shelby’s Angels: Sometimes I’m Not, and a free e-book available at Changeling Press’ website entitled Shelby’s Angels: The Beginning. This is a wonderful group of characters, and I’m interested in seeing what kind of trauma and drama they find themselves in next!
