Colette Beauchamp is traveling home from a shopping excursion with her mother and sister. Sick of her spoiled little sister’s incessant whining, she suggests taking a shortcut through Vile Forest. The suggestion turns out to be a bad one. Their carriage overturns, leaving their coachman injured and the rest of them stranded in a storm. When Nuri, the resident demon of the woods, captures them, Colette bargains with him. She will stay and do whatever he asks if he will just release her mother and sister.

Nuri is aware of Colette’s attraction to him from the start. The feeling is mutual, and he decides to give Colette’s sister to his Overlord as a virgin offering and keep Colette for himself. Eventually, Nuri is touched by Colette’s love for her family and allows them to leave. Sensing Nuri’s desire for this mortal woman, his Overlord decides to teach him a lesson and seizes Colette. From his chains in the dungeon, Nuri must find a way to save them both.

Wow! I loved Demon Seed! Nuri is one hot demon. His powerful sexual presence is enough to drown in. It is easy to understand how Colette is quickly won over by his attentions. The sexual encounters are intense and extremely erotic, but there is also an emotional element to the story. Ms. Acuna conjures up love scenes that are both carnal and tender. And while the premise of sexual domination is not for everyone, it is tastefully done and beautifully written.

Demon Seed is Kimberly Zant’s second book under the pseudonym Desiree Acuna. I've enjoyed her writing under both names and Demon Seed is no exception. She is definitely an auto-buy for me. I wholeheartedly recommend Demon Seed to readers looking for a wickedly good piece of dark erotica!
