Egyptian Nights

Victoria suffers at the hands of her abusive husband. As her husband swings the bat at her for the final time, she finds herself transported to another place and time. She wakes up as Mayati, wife to Khaemhat.

Egyptian Nights is only 44 pages long but it is filled with a strong sense of history as well as a high degree of eroticism. The reader is transported to ancient Egypt as Victoria gets her bearings. Victoria slowly learns to trust her new husband. She is bewildered by her circumstances as she looks like another woman, but she has all her memories as Victoria. Khaemhat is a wonderful hero, thoughtful, caring and very tender. He tries to understand that the soul of his wife is gone, but he is attracted to Victoria. These two are able to come together and build a new life together.

Egyptian Nights is a highly evocative short story. It is a tender and very sweet tale featuring two likable leads. They share an intense chemistry, which the author builds on, and will sweep the reader back into ancient Egypt.
