Brothel Night

As the youngest member of the city’s historic review commission, Sheri Brooks is consulting with the new owner of a brothel-turned-restaurant in regards to what he can and cannot to the building. The new owner Gage DeStefano is reported to be a hotshot developer with no patience for rules and regulations, earning himself the nickname “Wham-Bam”. Sheri does not intend to back down and looks forward to going head to head with him.

As she is waiting for Gage to show up, Sheri is reluctant to leave the room above the restaurant. While looking around at the musty room with faded wallpaper and no furniture, she hears a voice behind her and when she turns around, she finds herself in the same room, as it must have looked in the early 1900’s.

When Gage shows up to meet with Sheri, he finds a beautiful woman in a luxurious room, dressed in clothes from a previous century, who called herself Star. When Star decides to call him Tex, Gage cannot resist the temptation she provides.

Brothel Night is a fascinating and sexy story of the ordinary turning into the extraordinary. Sheri is a self-assured woman who knows how to do her job and looks forward to the challenges of her work. For Sherri, dealing with Gage will certainly be a challenge. Gage is used to getting his own way and fights to keep the upper hand. I highly enjoyed watching these two strong characters struggle for control and liked that they both gave in at times. The story moved along swiftly and really worked with these characters, so I give Brothel Night 4 Angels.
