Raise Me

Amy had just fed and was looking at the water of the Mississippi River, longing for a man to spend eternity with. She had not allowed a man to get close to her since Sebastian was taken from her long ago, on the very night she was made a vampire.

While Amy was trying to decide what to do with the rest of the night she was grabbed and pushed against a brick wall by a man with red flames in his eyes. Amy soon realizes that the man is none other that Sebastian Von Drake the third, the only man she had ever loved. Has Amy found the man to spend eternity with? Will she be able to accept Sebastian as the man he has become?

Raise Me is a wonderfully erotic short story that combines the paranormal with romance and love. Amy is a female vampire who is tired of being alone and longs for someone to love and to be loved. Sebastian is a man who needs the help of a vampire and finds the woman whom he had loved, before they were torn apart. K.L. Bjork has created a delightful tale of two lovers lost to each other that are given a second chance, if they can overcome their differences. I think that Raise Me is a charming story and I only wish that the story was a little longer.
