Shana has made the hard decision to leave Bear. She could no longer accept the long absences. Forever Enslaved is Ann Jacobs' newest title in the Black Gold series. This story is the sequel to Love Slave, but can be read independently. Shana and Bear have had a wonderful marriage that has withstood religious and cultural differences, family strife and war. Ms. Jacobs gives the reader an inside view into a strong marriage that is slowly coming apart at the seams unless action is taken. The physical bond that Shana and Bear have is intensified by the emotional connection they share. I enjoyed that both Shana and Bear have made and are willing to continue to make sacrifices to insure a lasting relationship.
