Misled

Bounty hunter and vampire Sable Taylor has met her match, she just doesn’t know it yet. For the past two years, Special Task Force agent Derek Atkinson has had a craving for Sable. He knows they’ll be explosive together if she’ll just give it a chance. Although their paths have crossed several times while each tries to capture criminals, Sable has always denied the attraction between them. But Derek has had enough, and he finally traps her on his ship.

Even though she’d like nothing more than the opportunity to indulge in her fantasies with Derek, Sable knows a relationship with him is impossible. She’s not what she seems and she knows if he ever discovers her secret, he’ll be furious. But Derek is also a powerful vampire and doesn’t give up easily. When she becomes trapped, Sable realizes she can no longer deny herself and decides a fling could get him out of her system…but she soon discovers that two days of uninhibited sex isn’t enough. Can their relationship survive once Derek realizes he’s been misled?

This is one fabulous story! Derek and Sable are two characters that grab your interest and keep it. The pace of the story is just right, moving along but at a speed where you feel as if you get to know the characters. Derek is a powerful vampire, a hero who has it all but wants more. And what he wants is Sable. I really liked that Sable was such a strong female character, physically and mentally. She worked hard and played hard, never asking for permission or forgiveness. The interactions that they had together are super sizzling but their feelings are intertwined into those interactions, making Misled a story that I’ll read over and over.
