Caroline Ritter was the talk of the town until her reputation was destroyed by a worthless man. Although she was innocent, she was thrown out of her home, disowned by her father and left to fend for herself. Caroline went from job to job before finding her “niche”. After months of almost being on her last leg she goes to the Distinguished Academy of Governess. She is given the job to teach Jude Durant, the earl of Huntington, to flirt. If she can get him married by the end of the season, she will get a bonus of 1,000 pounds from his father. With this money she can take her sister out of her father’s hands and bring her to France to live with their mother’s family.

As the season plays out, Caroline and Jude find that they are attracted to each other. Jude is hiding behind his outlandish clothes and behavior while working for the home office. He is determined to catch the murderers of his brother, Michael. He is out for revenge and justice at all cost!

Will Jude have his revenge? Will Caroline get her wish of taking her sister to live in France or will the lust that she and Jude share turn to love and thwart all her plans?

Christina Dodd has another hit on her hands with My Fair Tempest! Not only are you drawn into Jude’s quest, you want him to win and you hope against all odds he gets justice for his brother’s murder, you are also cheering for Caroline to get her job done so she will be able to make the choices she needs for her and her sister.

I love reading about strong women from the regency period who are not afraid to be themselves or to stand up for what they believe in. Your senses are tempted and you are very pleased with this book, making it well worth the look. I could not put this story down once I picked it up as I became totally engrossed in the tale, like Calgon it took me away! This is not a book you should miss. I for one am ecstatic that I picked My Fair Tempest to read. Without a doubt there is much about this book that made it worthwhile as well as a great book to read. Any book by Christina Dodd is a definite reader and keeper!
