Terri Pray offers readers a glimpse of Lily’s gentle, passionate awakening. Her portrayal of the Dryad, Gwenna, is a unique deviation from the legends. The Dryad displays a touching compassion and desire to make Lily happy. The author’s description of Gwenna is imaginative and maintains the magic associated with these creatures. The scenes between Lily and Gwenna are tasteful and only hint at the passion they will discover. Ms. Pray has done a good job balancing Lily’s self-discovery with her sexual discovery. If you are looking for a short story, which focuses on emotions and commitment honestly offered, then Green Dreams is a very good choice.
