Tarot Card: Page of Cups – You Know You Make Me Blue

You Know You Make Me Blue is part of eXtasy Books Tarot Card Series. The Page of Cups card is one that can be reversed, so it carries double meanings. One indicates a need to consider what you are doing, and the other to indicate trouble. Set in the 1960’s, we find our heroine Lucie McIntyre, a curious, impulsive woman who takes a peek into the Lakeside Hotel’s luxurious Lake Breeze Suite. What she didn’t plan on doing was taking a ceramic statue of the hotel that was in the room or to almost get busted snooping in the room.

Carl Henderson is a man who is not what he appears to be. He knows something is amiss with the suite, but doesn’t know that Lucie was the one in there. The sexual attraction is too strong for either one of them to ignore and they end up finding themselves having the most mind shattering sex of their life outside in the pavilion. Carl and Lucie hope that their passionate encounter will lead to a much deeper, meaningful relationship. But when the secrets each are holding onto are revealed, what could have been may be lost forever.

An interesting tale, this addition to the Tarot Card Series is one any romance lover is sure to enjoy. I still have a few questions that were left unanswered, but overall, I did enjoy the book. Finding an attraction that strong is amazing, but to lose it because of some secrets is a shame.
