The Other Woman

Allyson was just a child of 15 when she was married to Roland Darchours. She took great care of her home, Riverdell and its people. In her spare time, she also loved the practice of the sword. Since her husband had been gone for 10 years to war, she decided it was time to take an uncomplicated and carnal lover.

Lord Roland was a ruggedly handsome man, wearing a patch over the one eye he lost during battle. During his time away he was kidnapped, sold as a slave, and became a gladiator. He decided it was time to come back home and take what was rightfully his.

Allyson has to fight her anger at Roland for returning and wanting a place in her life and home after being absent for 10 long years. Neither has any true idea of what tricks were played on them during his time away. It will take strength and trust from both of them to face their perils.

Autumn Dawn wrote a very compelling story about two very strong willed characters. The compassion that builds between them when they find out the truth of the wrongs done to them is very exciting. This is a great page turning story. The reader will not be able to wait to see what secret is discovered next. I recommend this for 5 angels.
