Contessas Assets

Tessa Garrity recently started her dream job as a background investigator with a well-known genetic company. Her duty is to investigate potential applicants for research positions with her company. A very handsome police detective charms her into assisting him with his latest case that involves a prospective client that she is currently running a background check on.

Detective Blaine Logan’s prime suspect is a possible employee of Contessa Garrity’s genetic company. The man in question has been stealing unsuspecting women’s donated ovum. Blaine very smoothly persuades Tessa into helping him catch the thief red-handed.

Passion begins to flow between Tessa and Blaine as they spend time together preparing for Tessa to be used as bait to capture the criminal. It becomes very difficult for Tessa to fight her desires for Blaine, especially when he continues to give her hot, breath-taking kisses.

Will Tessa be able to handle working undercover? Will Blaine be able to protect Tessa and apprehend the offender?

Contessa’s Assets by Ginger Simpson was a wonderful, funny and cute love story. This novel is a short story that packs a great punch! It is bursting with romance, doubt, and suspense that keep the reader’s interest from the beginning to the end. 4 Angels.
